Daily exercise routines and the static postures that our occupations require can cause imbalances in our muscles. Our ability to perform effectively is dependent on how our muscles support and move our spine. Proper strength and flexibility in our musculature will decrease the amount of stress our body needs to endure in order to carry out the most basic activities in our lives. Poor posture can develop over time without us noticing, and can lead to other health-related ailments.
Massage Therapy can help reduce the strain on the body by releasing muscle spasms and toxins that have built up in the muscles and cause soreness, poor alignment and undue stress on the body. The key to a healthy musculoskeletal system is a preventative maintenance program. Maintaining a healthy body is important to our overall health and well being during our entire life span.
As we age, our body naturally loses some of its muscle elasticity and flexibility. It is our job to minimize these changes and promote optimal movement. The changes in our body happen long before we start to feel the aches and pains associated with poor posture and old, unattended injuries. Combining Massage Therapy with chiropractic adjustments improves results and helps maintain a healthy musculoskeletal system.
Treatment begins with a thorough assessment, including a case history.
